The SSF was established in the Spring of 2002, as part of the response to a Faculty survey entitled "The Total Student Experience". It is a conduit for communication and a platform for all students and staff at the Faculty for the sharing of experiences of life on campus.
The Forum aims to meet twice a term and posters advertising the meetings are displayed on both sites of the Faculty as well as on electronic bulletins. When you attend a meeting you can leave your contact details with the Secretary if you would like to receive regular emailed information and meeting reminders.
To date the Forum has presented a Vision Statement for its work and established a Faculty Charter for student/ staff behavior with the aspiration of enhancing the culture of our academic community and providing a shared ethos for our everyday social practices.
Co-Chair of the SSF is the Student Union V.P Cheshire.
