• Placements in local primary, secondary schools and clubs to help with;
  
  1. Curriculum and extra curriculum.
     
  2. Cover for PPA Time & 5 hour offer.
     
  3. Completing the coaching hours required for many NGB awards
     
  4. Gaining experience of coaching adults and/or children
     
  5. Gaining practical experience of theoretical issues covered on academic courses
     
  6. Collecting data for dissertations and research projects
     
  7. Demonstrating a commitment to sport and exercise beyond playing over and above the requirements of academic courses.
     
• In many cases we can offer payment and travel expenses to suitably qualified individuals for undertaking community placements.
  
• Placements with partner councils to help gain an insight into the role of sports development in the community.
  
• Employment on summer schools and holiday schemes run by the University and external organisations.
