PaR has had a strong presence in the Department’s research profile since the mid-1990s, and continues to be important within the wider research community. Our reputation in PaR is high, nationally and internationally, and practice as research can be found at lecturer and postgraduate levels. Much of this work occurs within professional, as well as research, contexts.
Researchers are involved in PARIP (Practice as Research in Performance and instrumental in setting up a North West PARIP Forum. Additionally, researchers are active in FIRT, the Federation for International Theatre Research.
