Guest Lecture by alumni on Sustainability at Bentley Motors

Former Manchester Met student, Dilyana Tomov, returned to the Cheshire campus to deliver a guest lecture on sustainability, graduate schemes and all things Bentley to students studying Responsible and Ethical Organisations.

Dilyana, now Graduate Trainee in Bentley’s Sales and Marketing department, talked about her involvement with Graduate Scheme at the company, gave tips on presentations, interviews and applications and also discussed the importance of sustainability at Bentley Motors.

Alumni student Dilyana successfully completed her master programme with a Distinction in Business and Management at Manchester Met’s Cheshire campus in 2015 whilst working for the Programme Management Office in Bentley, a department responsible for the deployment of 2025 Bentley strategy. As an Internship Trainee, Dilyana was involved in specific strategic projects with key responsibilities in the introduction of the company's SharePoint environment, driving Ideas Management for Sales and Marketing, planning workshops and strategy events for diverse audiences. She said of the event: ‘It was a pleasure and great privilege to come back to Manchester Met’s Cheshire campus and give a talk on Bentley Motors Limited.’

Katy Goldstraw, Associate Lecturer at Manchester Met, said: "Students were delighted to welcome Manchester Met Alumni and really appreciated the opportunity to get the inside track on graduate scheme applications. It was a great opportunity to build on a positive employer - University partnership."
